Aftercare Perhaps the most vital phase, aftercare is a six month component mandatory for all clients upon completion of treatment. It is designed to ensure the client will retain all he/ she has learned and aggressively accomplish their goal of sobriety once they complete inpatient treatment. A comprehensive plan is developed detailing what the client should and should not do. In addition, an aftercare agent is assigned with the purpose of keeping the client accountable by meeting with him/ her weekly for the duration of the six month aftercare phase. Aftercare is designed with the client’s sobriety in mind. |
